Arsenal fell 2-1 to Manchester United today. It was their first home defeat in 13 Premier League matches and marked Arsenal’s worst start to a season since 1982. They also lost midfielder Jack Wilshere and goalkeeper Wojtech Szczesny to injuries during a five-minute span in the second half.

On the bright side though, their best striker Olivier Giroud is back and has already returned to his goalscoring ways.

Giroud went down with a broken leg on August 22 and was expected to miss the rest of 2014. But to everyone’s surprise, manager Arsene Wenger announced Thursday that the Frenchman was available for selection.

That’s great news for the Gunners, who need all the help they can get going forward.
