Tbilisi, Georgia

This vibrantly colored house is all yours for, that's right, just $30 a night. The former "pocket theatre" can host three guests…well, four, if you want to bring your dog. The house is filled with furniture built by the owner and film director, Sopo, and her husband. The Tbilisi house is small but packed full of hand-crafted art and character.

Belgrade, Serbia

This Republic Square apartment in Serbia's capital accommodates three and is a short walk away from major sights in the city such as the National Theatre and Skadarlija area. By the river is Savamala, the older part of town, is wealthy with nightlife and is just a ten-minute jaunt away. All of this for just $33 a night – pretty great, right?

Sofia, Bulgaria

If you want to go off the grid either solo or with a friend or spouse, this private room in Sofia will do the trick. The 100 square meter space is located in the quiet Ovcha Kupel neighborhood and 15 minutes away from the city center.
