Whether or not Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder, and Grey’s Anatomy are your cup of tea, writer/producer Shonda Rhimes’ titanic feats are undeniable. As one of the top creatives currently in television, she has so much TV on for one night a week, Thursdays have been renamed “Shonda Thursdays.” All three beloved shows have many similar aspects: badass female leads, great dialogue and frustrating relationships. But more than anything else, it’s those signature cliffhanger endings, tantalizing plot twists, and broken hearts via sudden deaths that make Shondaland shows more addictive than perhaps anything else on TV. All three series returned for their mid-season premieres in February, and we’re celebrating with some of the best memes and GIFs from the shows.
