When Stranger Things broke big over the summer, almost everyone agreed that Millie Bobby Brown, the young actress who plays Eleven, was the show’s breakout star. With any luck, the talented actress will have a long and prosperous career in Hollywood, which seems to be an eventuality she’s already planning for.
During a panel at Rhode Island Comic Con, Brown explained that she might even be interested in starring in more science fiction, specifically. “If they made—I think they are making another Star Wars—I would love a role like that,” Brown said. “Because I want to do something far from Eleven or Madison.” (Madison is the character Brown played on the British series Intruders.)
Brown added that she would also be interested in playing a younger version of Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia. A prequel film focusing on a young Han Solo, played by Alden Ehrenreich, is already in the works, and Leia’s backstory would likely be just as interesting, especially with Brown in the lead role.
Of course, Star Wars isn’t the only universe she wants to inhabit. During the same panel, Brown also expressed interest in appearing on The Walking Dead. “There’s this one show I just want to be on so badly, I’ve tried everything to get on The Walking Dead. I don’t even care if I’m a zombie,” Brown explained to the moderator.
Although playing a zombie might be cool, Brown has already proven that she can play a hardened survivor capable of enduring unimaginable tragedy, so she’d fit right in on The Walking Dead, even if she was alive. She also noted that an actor from the show was at the Comic Con, as well. “And I do know that … Negan is here today,” Brown said. Perhaps she and Jeffrey Dean Morgan met and bonded—maybe she even got to meet Lucille.
We already know that Brown is hard at work on Stranger Things’ second season, but here’s hoping her career continues long past that. Check out Brown’s full panel below.
