Production is currently underway in Los Angeles on Hulu’s Veronica Mars revival, and star Kristen Bell is giving the show’s devoted Marshmallows their first look at the reborn Mars Investigations office.

On Monday the show’s Twitter account shared the first video of Bell as Veronica Mars, back behind her desk in the Mars Investigations office.

“Being in the investigation office brings back a lot of memories and nostalgia, and feelings of ‘who on Earth let us do this again?” Bell also says in a first-look video from set posted on the Veronica Mars Instagram page.

The original Veronica Mars ran for three seasons from 2004-2007, and was brought back by fans with a Kickstarter-funded feature film in 2014. The forthcoming eight-episode Hulu revival will feature a number of returning cast members, as well as newcomers including J.K. Simmons and Patton Oswalt.

Last week, series creator Rob Thomas posted a photo from the episode one table read featuring newcomers Oswalt and Dawnn Lewis (new Neptune police chief Marcia Langdon), as well as two recently announced cast members, Clifton Collins Jr. and Izabela Vidovic. Westworld star Collins will play Alonzo, a mid-level hitman for a Mexican cartel, while Vidovic plays Matty Ross, a teenager who takes justice into her own hands after losing the most important person in her world, per Deadline.

Returnees in the photo include Bell, Percy Daggs III (best friend Wallace Fennel), Daran Norris (Cliff McCormack), Jason Dohring (Veronica’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Logan Echolls), Enrico Colantoni (Veronica’s father Keith Mars) and David Starzyk (Richard Casablancas Sr.), although Thomas reassured fans saying that their favorite characters may return later in the series.

Hulu has not yet announced a premiere date for the highly anticipated Veronica Mars revival, although it says the first three seasons and feature film will arrive on the service in summer 2019, with the revival streaming at a later date that same year.
